It's been nearly 13 years!
I know this is going to sound very harsh to say but c'mon... GET OVER IT!!
I love Freddie and Queen as much as any of you guys, but didn't listening to 'Innuendo' and 'Made In Heaven' teach you that life goes on despite of all problems, adversities, odds, and tragedies?
On those 2 albums we hear a man who knew he didn't have much time left on this earth, yet he gave it all to make the best out of his unbelievable talent and leave us with the perhaps the best work of his career.
Instead of whinning about Freddie's death, you should appreciate that you're still alive and live everyday to the fullest. Learn something from the man.
I agree.
Don't let yourself die with him. Instead, let a part of him live in you.
This Inspirational Thought of the Day brought to you by Ramses. Thank you :-P
I think it was meant in general, and used that thread as an example to strenghten the argumentation...That´s my opinion...
Anyway, I don´t think Freddie would be happy about people who think so tragically...I guess he would have something very ¨colored¨ to say about that...
THE END
The magic about the 24th of that month is that when you suck cock on that day, you're getting a place next to Freddie in heaven. Errrrr..... hell I suppose, that's where all gay people seem to go. Must be fun over there.... Well, anyway, if this guy/girl is taking the piss out of all the "real" queen fans, it's one of the best 'till this moment.
The 24th will pass me by as a normal day. No special thoughts, no playing music in tribute, no lighting of candles - in fact I probably won't even think of it at all.
The 24th of November is my husbands birthday and we are usually in the midst of preparing for Thanksgiving. Always a nice day with a brief, quiet thought of Freddie.

I listen to Queen everyday, so if I do this on the 24th, it won't be anything special.
But I'm a bit sad on the 24th, though I try not to remember what day it is. I hate reminding myself the days when my beloved ones passed away. Unfortunately, there's always somebody out there to remind me :(...

In this thing I´ll have to totally agree with you, Mrs.Badguy. Good job!
you don´t need a special day to remember freddie.
one of my childhood friends died last year in june and i think about him almost every day...
if you really care for someone (your idol...for example)do you think of him/her only 24 hours per year?

Come on dude, if there's one thing we learn from Freddie (especially his last few years) is to keep going with your life and live to its fullest. Not to mope around feeling sorry for him. Hell, he even said that he didn't care how people remember him because he would be dead! On the 24th I usually think about him a little in a reflective 'he had some really great musical ideas' type of way. I would never dream of moping especially putting off important things like school/work etc to do so
