Six or seven months ago we were discussing about a new Queen album arriving at the end of this year. This would be a studio album, in a MIH style, even with unheard songs from Freddie (Two worlds apart would be the title of one of them).
But now that the date is getting closer we just have a live album from the HS era.
So, that album we all had in mind, was cancelled, suspended, or was just a rumor??
Just wanted to say that I thought the album would NOT be like "Made In Heaven" but would feature SOME Freddie songs. The rest would be new with Roger and Brian singing which is the way I think that it should be. I think perhaps the next three albums should be done this way and then whatever Freddie tracks are left over can be completed but should not be released until either in box set or single c.d. release form perhaps after Roger and Brian are dead. This is so there will be excitement and things for the fans to talk about and speculate and continue to have interest in incase Roger and Brian really do have a hard time continuing on as Queen. I for one hope that that is not the case nor do I think that it will be. Especially if there are guest singers or players...
Please ignore anything anybody says about the new album or the ridiculous 'Two Worlds Apart" story. None of it is true. Although a few members of Queenzone seem to find continuous amusement in re-hashing old lies.
All of us would want this to be true, so it's highly probable that it wasn't....
Anyway, if any of you own the demo from 1988 from this song, it would be great for us to upload at least the small part singing "....two worlds apart..." from Freddie's voice. It shouldn't be more that 3 seconds and would leave us a good taste in our ears for the next weeks....
How many musicals will follow??? I hope they finish the musical thing soon and get back in the studio. I'm so exiting to hear a new album. And of course I hope they're gonna tour to promote the album.

I don't think Brian and Roger will tour. Maybe a couple of shows, but not a big tour. I think the musical will come to Holland in the near future. Holland isn't safe anymore :-P. (My 201st post:-) )

We were talking about a studio album, not a live one...
....Dear Mr. Pim......
I repeat my last post:

OK, ok, I'm sorry.
I opened this post and I hope I close it.
I've investigated a (very) little and I noticed this cannot be true. I'd be ridiculous.
Queen members said that just during The Miracle sessions, at least 30 songs (of course, demos a big part of them) were recorded, but today no more than 15, or 16 are known. I only hope we can just go and buy some of them someday.
Man, I read about this album on the Queenzone news. Go check it before saying Pim and FriedChicken are lying. I dunno anything about Two Worlds Apart, this might be an invention, but it's Jim Beach who mentioned about a new Queen album...

That was just "news" taken from a single unofficial site. Nothing further was heard about it.
