my boss is a huge fan, and i am on a mission to find out a few things about the song "death on 2 legs". first, what does he say when it is played live that is beeped out on the albums?? second, does anyone know which show it is taken from so maybe i can get a bootleg?? third, who is it dedicated to??
ok, thanks for your time. :)
Kim
It's about Norman Sheffield.
And the bleeped out words are:
"This next song is from A Night at the Opera. This about real motherfucker of a gentleman, we call him motherfucker, You know what motherfucker means?
I'm sure you have a word for it. We call him, we also call him Death on two Legs"
Yes. Norman Sheffield. I got this thingee from Queenwords.com.
According to the QMS, this song is most likely dedicated to Norman Sheffield, one of Queen's ex-managers who (allegedly) cheated them out of a lot of royalty money.
Yes, again. On the Live Killers CD the words bleeped out are "A Real Mother Fucker of A Gentleman".
I only have it on Live Killers. I don't know about any other album.
Sir B.A Baracus wrote: Actually, it is a song about Aids.
Being quite new on the forum, dear Loveslostt, you might not have got the point. The song isn't about AIDS, this is only a (very successful) joke on the site, I hope you noticed it and you didn't mislead your boss... Btw, are you a Queen fan too? Just curious...
sorry i was a bit drunk when i posted the reply..... i was trying to ask where i could find reins website that has the mp3 on it. thanks alot.....haha

thanks for the tip. queen has grown on me since i have shared an office with my boss. i am not too fond of the songs they overplay on the radio but most of the songs are pretty cool. its funny how you hear songs all the time, and then youre like "queen did this?? and this?? and this???" they have quite the extensive song library. anyway...thanks for your help,
Kim
