I love this thing! It sounds absolutly fab! The action is the lowest I have ever played on a guitar. The top is solid spruce, and the sides solid wild cherry. These are made in Canada, and are beautifuly done. It has such a warm tone. Not only that, but the higher end notes are not lost in the lower tone. It actually brings them out more! Fantastic! It was a factory second, which means it has a blemish in the finish somewhere. I got it from a store in Milwaukee. They deal in those. It would have cost $650, but because of the defect, it was only $150 and came with a hard case. If any of you are wondering what guitar to get, try a Seagull. You'll love it.
Richard...I don't know if he did or didn't really
geeks.....What model is yours? Hard on the fingers? Did you have the luthier at the guitar shop set it up for you? Mine was when I got it. It plays so sweet!

I'm not sure what model mine is - it's a fifteen-sixteenths. Old and Rickety, I'm guessing, but I still love it. And I'm too damn lazy to get my strings changed, so they've gotten kind of tough. It's a good finger workout - I just wish I had slightly bigger hands, it would make everything so much easier. I have tiny fucking hands.
Too bad I'm no good at playing the guitar. I need a tutor but can't be stuffed paying anyone to teach me..so I'm sort of caught in between not playing and being shit. I can't really do much..God Save the Queen, Advance Australia Fair, the start of Smells Like Teen Spirit. Yeah, I bite.
Wouldn't mind switching to bass though. Sort of Deaky that made me want to switch. And Ox. He rocks. Well..rocked.
I own an Ibanez Roadstar II Which I bought from a well known shop that sells new and second hand guitars here in England in the mid 80's for £100. I Followed that up a few weeks later by buying an RP6 foot pedal made by Digitech. Using both together I've been really pleased with the results I've had.
However, my 'old lady' has seen better days and i've always fancied owning a copy of the 'red special'. I have heard though that it's quite hard to play if you have rather small fingers (which I have) due to the radius of the neck.
I haven't seen any in the local shops so I cannot give one a try.
Anyone else got one or tried one?
