I'm getting a little annoyed by all the negative attitude on this forum.
I realise that some people get a little fustrated that "newbies" come on start new threads which have been covered before (many times often), and yes it would be ideal if these people could dig around in the archives for the answers to the questions they ask. But you've got to remember that they won't automatically know that there's an old version of the site which is easier to search than the new version (I haven't been able to search any of the forum entries via the search link on the new version of the site!! I only seem to get hits on news items).
Also, not everyone has broadband and is therefore able to spend ages trawling through what is a very large archive.
Then there are some members who are less than accomodating to foreign members who may not have the best grasp of the english language. In the cyber world we often have no idea who is at the other end of the line; their gender, nationality, age etc, and what you read online can often and easily be mis-interpreted.
I think there's far too much emotionally driven knee-jerk responses to people's posts when a simple request for clarification would enable the poster to be clearer on their intent. How often do we see a long number of posts in which a pair of indviduals apologise for an unintended slight? This works both ways, so try to be as clear as you can when you post or reply.
So can we please try and take a breath before launching in to our replies and remember that not everyone is a fluent English language 30+ year long fan with all that Queen history filed away in their head!!!
