The reissue of the highlander dvd which was issued for europe by warner is to be deleted from all stocks because uk distributor Anchor bay uk is to reissue the immortal edition which was released in america to coincide with the reissue of queen cd's.
The Immortal Edition is selling pretty cheap in the U.S. now. I just rebought it last month (had it once before) for $14.99 with the metal case at Best Buy. There's always some selling on Ebay but some do not have the insert booklet or case for some reason, according to the listings.
If they are re-releasing it, this would be the perfect opportunity to include a 'true' Highlander Soundtrack album that Brian hoped to work on. I guess there isn't time though?
Even if there was time, would it be economically viable? I mean, we're not talking 'A New Hope' here!!! That said, I'd love to hear this option too. BTW is Furia out on DVD?

Wow -- I bought mine new at WalMart for $24 two years ago...and it's going for HUGE bucks on Eil.com (your Queen headquarters for overpriced merchandise LOL!). I always thought they should have called the Immortal Edition Queenlander!
"I'm working on creating a full soundtrack in good quality and maybe creating a b**tleg. Does anyone know if there's a more or less complete version of 'New York, New York'?"
Are you going to sell it for way too much money (selling cd-r's is wrong anyway) like you do with the "Milton Keynes DVD Promo" or the Silver Salmon "cd-r-acetate" ?
No there isn't a longer version of NYNY.
