NEW ORLEANS, La. -- Zoo officials in New Orleans are hoping to inspire a bachelor gorilla to mate by showing him gorilla sex videos.
So far, he likes watching TV but hasn't been inspired to mimic the action.
The 21-year-old Casey has been living at the Audubon Zoo for two years. He gets along with three females, but when their reproductive cycles peak, Casey gets intimidated.
The Gorilla Foundation estimates the western lowland gorilla population at no more than 35,000 in the wild and 550 in captivity. Other zoos have used the sex-video technique with gorillas, with some success.

I'm afraid it sounds like Casey might be gay. Why is it that people naturally assume their gorillas are straight? I've said it time and time again.. raise your gorillas in an open-minded environment and they'll live happier lives.
Some simple tests can be done. All they need is some Donna Summer music, a second gorilla named Mark and some fabulous draperies.
