Just finished listening to this on Radio One and I have to say they were pretty good (as you would expect!) Not sure about Flea's trumpet solo, but there you go! Nice bit of WWRY too from the crowd! But very tight, very entertaining and some nice improvisation I have to say! What did you all reckon?
The down side was that it wasn't the full gig where Radio One said it would be! What happened there? To start off with they said the gig would start at 7oclock but it started at 8! Is this why it was cut short or was it intentional?
Fairdos, I can't stand that Zane Lowe, he does my head in...
My brother went to see that today... he hasn't shut up about it since. According to him, they were really good... I shall probably be seeing for myself on Friday (If I don't get greedy and decide to sell my tickets between now and then).
'pparently, Keidis said something like "If you were cool in the '70s, you listened to Led Zeppelin, Sabbath and Queen". My brother informed me of this, and I was literally in shock. "What!? He mentioned Queen?!" But... yah, new-found respect for the guy. I may keep my ticket after all.
