It reminds me of when the Solid Gold Dancers used to do a simply amazing back-up performance whenever the Village People were guests. What an amazing time in history.
Velvet Revolver has lots of influences, but at least they have their own style and don't try to steal cliches from any other bands other than STP and GnR, which I guess they have the right to since Velvet Revolver is a merge from both.
