...you post a message (especially a long one) and then when you click the "SEND" button, but then your browser gets screwed up and your message is lost.
I can't rely on Internet Explorer or Netscape any longer. Now I type most of my e-mails and messages on WordPad and then I do a 'copy & paste'.
I remember once I spent over half and hour writing this e-mail to my cousin and then it got lost. I was so pissed off that I didn't feel like writing the whole thing again, and I only wrote it one week after it got erased.
Two nights ago, I typed up this really long thing on this web site...and clicked something by accident and the entire thing was erased...I was so annoyed. I just gave up and went to sleep.
yeah i get that, or sometimes when your posting on a forum and u cant remember the name of the person your commenting on, or u forget the topic (ok i do sometimes) lol u go bck then forward, sometimes your message is still there and other times theres a delay and your left with an empty box
I had this happen with a huge email at Yahoo not long ago. When I went to send it, it said my session had expired and my heart sank. But there it was waiting for me in 'drafts' when I logged back in. Nice safety feature they got there :)
At least you can blame the browser and not your own idiocy. My aunty once spent 8 hours straight writing a report for work only to accidentally click "don't save" at the end.
Pleased she was not.
