... I have just been informed that one of my very best childhood friends is dead. He was one of the many killed in this precious (supposedly over) war. It's weird... I hadn't spoken to him in about three years, And was actually thinking of trying to get in touch. I guess that won't be happening now.
Sorry, Dan:-(( Pretty much know how does it feal cause I also lost my childhood friend a few years ago... Although not in war.. :( Wars are the biggest shit human race ever invented:((
Oh I'm so sorry to hear that.
I've lost several friends suddenly, but not due to the war, so I know a little what it feels like.
You just feel so helpless and want to turn back time.
Big Hug for you.

Terribly sorry to hear this, Dan - I know you must feel a bit odd now, especially as you hadn't spoken to him for some time and was considering doing so recently.
my most sincere condolences dan. This hasn't happened to me, but i feel your pain. The thing you have to remember is that he died in the name of our country, fighting to give us more freedom, aand to make sure that they do us no more harm.
Its going to be ok dan, it realy is. Even though he is not here phisically, he is here in spirit. he always will be.

I know all too well how you must be feeling Dan. The only thing I can tell you is that it gradually gets easier and the pain is replaced by happy memories.
In the meantime you've got a talent that might help you to sort out your feelings. Writing a song or just writing in general might be therapeutic.
And it's okay to smile :)
