Oh LOL
Dave Grohl likes Get Down Make Love. I think he is one of the few Queen fans that like that song! :))
And they all like Under Pressure, except Nate. He says that its one of the songs in one of the greatest hits albums, and its a technical filler. I wonder which one that is.
Yeah "Get Down, Make Love" is definitely one of my favorite Queen songs. :) It rocks...it seemed like an obvious choice for Queen Rocks though it's not on there.
Freddie has such a distinct heavy-metal voice on it during the loud parts. It may sound silly, but his voice on there reminds me of a steel sword: it's sharp, but totally smooth. It is mixed absolutely perfectly with the music (same on "Tie Your Mother Down").
I have trouble listening to other hard-rock bands, because this is my impression of what a heavy metal singer is supposed to sound like, and no one else achieves it.
Plus that song was one of the best parts of the concert because that's where Queen showed off all their lights :)
Taylor Hawkins hero-worshipped Roger, and I know he and Dave stalked Brian into playing on One By One. There's a couple of pretty funny pictures of Brian and Dave in the Brian photo gallery as well. The dears love him.
I'm glad I got to see them when they still did "Get Down, Make Love". I'm disappointed they dropped it in the later shows...I always thought the sound-effects-&-lights middle section was sort of a tradition like the opera section of "Bo Rhap."
By the way where is the Bios section on that website?!
