Yeah, I know. Revelations, huh?
These days, I have been dividing my time between Queenzone and a forum called Synergy.
For those of you who think QZ has gone to the dogs, you have obviously not been to Synergy. The only reason I still go there is because I have friends who are longtime posters.
The other day, some loon sent me a personal message on this website telling me that he "repsected my decision to be a fan of Queen, but I should really know what a terrible person Brian May is."
What? I ask. Was Brian in on the plot to kill Kurt Cobain? *rolls eyes*
No. Brian is a horrible person and is sending a bad message to young women because his wife is a TV star.
WHY? This guy isn't even a fan, but I see stuff like this more often than I'd like, from fans and non-fans. Is Brian (Roger? John? Freddie?) not allowed to do anything without getting the world's permission first?
What's the problem here?
No, I don't think it was George Bush.
More likely it was one of the idiots who has nothing better to do than post topics like "Does (name of prominent alternative rock figure) eat at (name of large restaurant chain)? Is so, (s)he is a(n) (wildly inappropriate epithet) because (s)he is giving money to large coroprations."
Y'know, this could be a fairly interesting game.
I'll start.
"Does (Maynard James Keenan) eat at (Subway)? If so, he is a(n) (goat sodomising, toad licking kitten) because he is giving money to large coroprations."
Interesting. I'd like to see what others could come up with.
Does John Mellancamp(sp?)eat at Hooters? If so, he is a crazed and perverted Las Vegas magician with no common sense because he is giving money to large coroprations.
LOL!
Does Eddie Vedder eat anywhere? If so, he is a flaming hypocrite, because he should not have to eat, and because he is giving money to large corporations.
Someone do a Queen one. I couldn't think of a goodie.
