I am 28 and live in Brooklyn, New York.
I only know of two people that are actually fans of Queen. It's so hard to find American Queen fans so I hope to speak to fans worldwide. Drop me an AIM so we can BS about Queen.
AIM: ajthetrainer
There are even fans from the NY metro area, like queensqueenie, Malina, and myself.
But I know what you mean when you say that it's hard to find Queen fans around where you live.
Hehehe!
But FBG makes the world go 'round!
Ah well thats cool. At first I thought that you were some lion tamer or something more exciting like that. LOL
They are just casual music fans then.
Still, I see your point. You have to the right place.

Were you a fan when Freddie died?
I was. I was 11 when he did. One of the saddest days ever.
Random things huh?
I like the WWRY that Rick Rubin ruined! I admit it! I don't care! I might be the ONLY one though!
Well, among any English-speaking reasonable sized cities, Vancouver's gotta be one of the hardest places to find any Queen fans... This city is so Asian! But Japan and Korea apparently have a tonne of fans... Very ironic too. I get really lonely when I talk about music with my friends cuz they fail to appreciate Queen music.
Welcome AJ! I myself am a former NY-er now living in Massachusetts. Queen fan since 1974 I have about ten years on you kid but it's always nice to hear that some appreciates Queen as much as we do here! Welcome to the madness!
Kriz ;o)
Welcome AJ. Big fan just south of you in Philadelphia. A couple years older as well. But sounds like we've been fans since about 1980-81. Were you fortunate enough to see them live?
Also, any Philly based fans out there??
AJ and fmloveforever, welcome to QZ. :) You've indeed come to the right place.
Of course it's difficult to find many younger Queen fans in the US and Canada. Enjoy the company of those who share the love of Queen, and don't focus on those who don't. Just remember, it's them who are missing out on the music, not you!
fmloveforever, I bring you glad tidings - there ARE Queen fans in Vancouver. I'm not one (a Vancouverite that is), but I do know several (ah, the beauty of the Net). And I have it on the best authority that there are more. :D Try getting up and singing BoRhap in any of the university pubs. I'm told it's a magnet. :D
Welcome AJ
As you can see there definitely are many true queen fans from the tri-state area.
I myself am 22 and live in New Jersey but i grew up in Brooklyn actually (Flatbush).
Out of curiosity what part of brooklyn are ya from?
I have been a Queen fan since Queen II. I lived in Philly at the time and no one knew Queen, it was my own personal obsession. Midway thru hi-school we moved to E TN. I was really ridiculed for liking Queen there, no one had heard the music, they were simply put off by the name. No stations would play queen, not even AOR, it was considered bubble gum at the time ANATO came out, not hard rock.
I still live in E TN but have an apt in Sunnyside Queens.
I sang Teo at my hi-school graduation.
i have been a queen fan since i was little my mom is the one who got me to listen to queen and now i have got my grandmother to listen to queen anybody from alabama.
puncutation and capitalization is a great thing isn't it it allows the reader a chance to breathe it must be irritating to have to read all this and just keep on reading it and reading it huh i'm from pennsylvania is alabama nice
yes it is nice it does not ever get to cold here. of course it is in the south. but the only thing that really gets on my nerves that none of the great concerts ever come to alabama
