With the currant situation with Coronavirus showing no sign of letting up I was wondering how much Queen would lose out with ticket's to fans being reimbursed .They could try and rearrange the dates yet again but lots of people my be unable to make yet another date. It's becoming a real nightmare for bands.i know Genesis also have a sell out tour coming up as well. Also with new Albums coming out for Band's it's not easy to promote the new material. What a horrible year we have had as the Queen would say"Annus Horrribilis ."
Hi Philip to be honest the gig scene has not really bothered me and maybe it is just as well as Queen cannot get back on the road as Brian had three blocked arteries
and i do not entertain QAL.
Nice to look at my original Queen Dvd collection though and know Freddie was the man who gave that band character and magic!
No i was not going to get tickets for this tour either after seeing the previous tour which i thought was very poor and i went with a friend who had never seen Queen live before. To be honest there were moments in the show that I felt down right embarrassed. My friend thought it was good but when you have seen Queen with Freddie, this is a very lame excuse for Queen.Plus being disabled and in a wheelchair its very tiring getting to the shows these days and normally you are tucked away with poor views of the stage. The staff are normally very kind and helpful but i think my touring days are over. The best venue for a good view of gigs is at the Leeds Arena, really well designed.I have seen Bryan Adams and The Chemical Brothers their both were good shows.I have been over to over 100 concerts seeing a variety of bands, best show I ever saw was Queen play at Knebworth,it was one of their finest shows, beautiful weather a good selection of other bands on the bill and Queen's last ever show together and Freddie was at his very best.
I love Queen but in the reincarnation, it just doesnt work for me
Brian calls Adam a gift from God but if you actually listen to his vocal on the live album its all bells and whistles; everyone is flat out ALL the time with no real dyanamics or artistry
I listened in disbelief as a band with Queens backgroud release a substandard product bereft of the craft of John Deacon and the heartfelt vocal of Freddie
No way. Queen+bert project is over. No album, only fucking concerts.Lambert showed that he was not capable of anything. These two old men I hope they understood that they chose the wrong one.
It's a pity that it has ended like this ,Brian and Roger well past their best being led by a singer who is clearly not up to the job.Brian and Roger are just making as much money as possible out of a guy who is sadly no longer with us.It should have all ended in 86 after the crowning glory of the Magic Tour and the Innuendo album should have wrapped things up.Brian and Roger are not alone in trying to squeeze every last drop out of a band, many have done this over the years,Rolling Stones,The Who,Yes to call out a few.At least they have released some new material with varying quality.Yesterday i played Queen's first six albums back to back absolutely sublime, these albums sound as fresh today as the day when they were conceived.By the way who Is still listening to the new album ?
