Hello everybody,
It's all in the title, I would like to know what makes Queen a typically English group.
it’s for a written check and I need to connect
Queen with the term britishness.
Thank you for your next answers, have a nice day??
They're not Rob !
Mainly, I think, down to Freddie's genius and heritage. He was a sponge who absorbed all the culture he was exposed to and this shows through in Queen's work, ably assisted by the other remarkable members of course.
Whenever you expected Queen to turn right, they turned left.
Someone on here has a tagline; ' Queen are the only group that play so heavy they make your nose bleed - then mop it up with a silk handkerchief ' (or something like that !) - just about sums them up. Very untypical.
There's something about Queen in the very early years that always makes me think of Victorian and/or Dickensian London - could be the clothes and imagery, the lyrics of some songs, it's difficult to explain - just a general atmosphere really :D
