Hi Queen experts! I've traveled here from the world of Guns n' Roses fandom. I have a question about Brian May and I hope this is the right place to put it.
Back in 1999 Axl Rose was working on his Chinese Democracy project. He was stuck on a few things and in November of 1999 Brian May joined him in the studio for a week or so.
One of the songs Brian worked on, Catcher In The Rye, leaked in 2006. A fan contacted Brian and he confirmed that it was indeed him playing on the song. Sadly, when Chinese Democracy was released in 2008 they had replaced Brian's solo with a Robin Finck solo.
Brian also confirmed he'd worked on 2 other songs with Axl Rose. One of those songs was confirmed to be Atlas Shrugged. Another was rumored to be called Perhaps.
About a month ago a lot of unreleased Guns n' Roses material from 2000/2001 was leaked onto the internet including those two songs. On Catcher I was 100% sure it was Brian as soon as I heard it. But on these tracks I'm not entirely sure. Has anybody here hear them and can anybody confirm whether or not Brian May is playing guitar on them?
On Youtube there are a lot of fakes of these tracks going around, so if anybody wants a listen that's not a good source. A lot of GnR fans have the tracks, I'm just not sure whether I can post a download link to them here.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I don't prefer hard rock songs more. But there are many who are crazy CBD for heart health about the hard rock songs and the hard rock band GNR. I used to hear those when I was back in college.
