I wouldn't walk across the street to see them if they were free. More and more I respect John Deacons's loyalty to FM. I hope Deaky's recent birthday is one of many more healthy, happy birthdays. As far as Maylor goes, meh.
^then again.
If it were FREE FOR ALL and first come first serve. ..I'd probably stay home unless i could go with numerous friends. That shit can be dangerous.

Could it be more about him being fed up with touring, band responsibilities and other pressures that come with it?
Could it be about him wanting to spend more time with his fam?
Could it be because he doesn't get on with Brian?
People like you always throw around the claim he did it out of loyalty to Freddie, but nobody knows for sure but mr. Deacon himself.
With or without Deaky, they put on an amazing show and you will kick yourself if you don't see them before it's too late.
John would likely be unrecognized. ^(in an American audience of muck mucks and musical theater former housewives and widows)
* ftr i thought I'd talked to the guy at an EXTREME show near NAMM a couple years back.
Ball cap indoors, sounded too French to be Deacon but i had felt odd speaking to this gent in the center of the pit. He quickly disappeared.
Should've asked him about his basses

Guess the last time they played MADISON SQUARE GARDEN was also the last time they played MACHINES.
*ALSO: Strangely enough they played TSMGO for a NON EUROPEAN audience. *(according to setlist.FM) maybe it was filmed
That's about as far as "dangerous" goes.
I would go and see Roger Taylor solo show like Electric Fire tour or The Brian May Group. But Adam spoils the whole thing he is never a rocker and never will be.
Yea he downgrades it when not pushed and likely May won't have him pushed. But for what it is it's okay.
Sorry to say.
But hell....beats the alternative.
No shows
Yes.
At this stage, for any Queen music to be played live by any of the original members in what remains of their performing lives , the alternative to Queen + AL is nothing at all . Ever .
Nah. I've seen Roger play a load of solo shows close up in tiny venues and even one where Brian guested with him on a few songs, and that's as good as it's ever got for me. I'm happy with my memories, so, no I wouldn't.
Of course I would - living right at one side of the UK on the coast of the North Sea I have to travel at least an hour to the London 02 which is my nearest big touring venues in London, or 2 hours to Wembley; I've done this countless times for tickets I've paid for over the last 30 years so why on earth would I not do it for free tickets to see my ultimate musical heroes Brian May and Roger, regardless of whoever they have on stage with them?

Serious?
Yes, but I'm like 99%certain it wasn't him. The French sounding kinda voice suggested it was simply an older professional and enthusiast....who happened to look like Deacon. Blue cap, dark blazer...casual tee if I Remember correctly. It was dense in there.
Come to think of it, the sound was a little strange in there. Possibly cause I was so close.
