Hello everyone!!
I was just thinking about what personality type Freddie was yesterday and reading a type which I thought describes him well IMO. I was thinking of starting a thread just like this one and was excited to see this! :) So right my alley for a first post!! :)
I love studying Myers-Briggs personalities. I’m almost certain he’s an INFP. I would love hearing what other people think. :)
Onstage Freddie is definitely an extrovert, but he's a different person off stage. Do you think he might have been ESFP onstage and ISFP offstage? The descriptions kind of fit.
Yes, for sure his onstage persona is an extrovert and his true self is an introvert. I think he’s more intuitive (N) instead of sensing (S) though. I was just reading the profile for INFP and thought that’s was him (like I know him personally! LOL). I’ll read the ISFP and ESFP again and post my thoughts. :)
Alright.
Snide remarks aside....I have no clue about Freddie. I don't know the guy, never spent time with him to know his motives.
Apparently I'm ENFJ-A, ENFJ-T
typified as : PROTAGONIST.
Interesting stuff. Hopefully this is somehow accurate instead of loosely ordered and vague. But I happen to agree with the damn assessment and DO currently find myself in a similar state mentioned there as having a tendency to get bogged down in (my family...I don't deal with it rationally and hope reason will come to it)
Hell if I know. But that may have been just what I needed... Which makes it all the more highly suspect! ;)
Thanks for this entertaining/potentially enlightening mirror
I read the descriptions again and agree with Queen Freddie Forever that Freddie is an ISFP not INFP as I originally thought. I should've read all first before commenting.
It a fun test to take to learn about your own personality. Of course, it's not to box anyone in but to give general tendencies of each type.
It would really take someone who knew him well to be able to answer this with any sense of accuracy. Those of us who never met Freddie can only speculate what he was like. From what we do know, he was an extrovert on stage but that was nothing more than a persona, and he was painfully shy off stage. There's an interview in which someone, I think Mack, says he was almost awkward with people he didn't know well but once you were in the circle he was open with you.
