'Definitive Buenos Aires' by Wardour is actually a 'remastered' merge from three sources, to which I contributed two.
Source 1) The main one is the 'First Major Rock' Gypsy Eye CD, sourced from a unknown gen CD-R made from a 1st gen copy of the 'Gogo Safigueroa' cassette tape, taken from the pre-radio 1/4" reel master tape. This was in stereo and quite raw.
Source 2) 10+ years ago, I got ahold of that 1st gen tape in the hands of a local collector, transferred it and did my best to undo the fade-outs in Dragon Attack and We Are The Champions. This was also in stereo, but mellower.
Source 3) Now I'm Here - reprise was still missing, and I used a Rock 'n' Pop FM radio mid-'90s partial re-broadcast. This was in mono, and now I know what I suspected then: it was taken from a taped Radio Rivadavia AM live broadcast of the show. So I suggest you use this track from the recording posted last week, as it is closer to a hypothetical master.
@Wilki Amieva
Which recording do you suggest to use for merge? I can't find source that you mentioned :( Maybe i should use GOGO tape instead of Wardour?
