At its longest it clocks in at 6:14 minutes. On the multitrack that is. The last few seconds features some banter from Roger after the gong.
I remember years ago someone uploaded a version of Bo Rhap which they claimed was a demo. Actually they just slowed it down and added bits, such as the intro of Won't Get Fooled Again and snippets of dialogue from random films.
"...and at my birthday party the cake was chocolate..." sticks out. I remember it being done to fool the trolls. Wish I still had it, it was very funny.
Anyone else remember this? Must be over a decade ago.
I remember hearing this rumor in the nineties and my guess its been going for a long time (but is, obviously untrue). Also, people often assume it is longer than it is. Maybe because in the time before cds it was harder to know these things and of course, knowing Queen's PR style, they might have exaggerated it themselves. But I've also wondered if people are confusing it with The Prophet's Song.
I never heard about an 8 minutes long version. I heard many times about a 7 minutes version, but it never existed. We know it because the multi-tracks are out there
