is the audio from Live Killers? sound like it
It's Late wasn't on Live Killers. Besides, it's not unheard of for 8mm footage to have audio i.e. Uniondale 1977. Anyways, lucky for us they captured a good chunk of It's Late.
Incredible ! It's not every day that 40 year old footage pops up like this.
@ 1:25, finally we have footage of the B stage descending at the end of Spread Your Wings.
And clearly It's Late was the filmer's favourite song of the night, as this comprises two minutes of the footage.
Thank goodness the filmer brought two reels.
A new 8mm? Wow. It needs some serious deflickefing and stabilization, especially the deflickering, I can't watch more than a few seconds of it. Is "anybody" willing to play with it? CM I'm looking at you :-)
Great! It looks really nice! I notice a lot of unprofessional material appears lately because of 40th anniversary (more or less): Detroit, Inglewood, London shows, Providence and now this. Gives some hope for Crazy Tour material next year.
Finally nice to see, even if only in a few quick snippets, of the acoustic stage being lowered at the end of Spread Your Wings. That's how I remember it when I saw them in Providence a month earlier. Nice to finally see the lighting rig used in it's full glory as opposed to the videos we've seen over the last 40 years through bootlegs and still photos. This videographer also found himself shooting from various angles so he was lucky security didn't bag him! It would be great if the master was taken and cleaned up!

I think it's just a camera being pointed at a projection. If so, a proper scan would most likely be enough to remedy the flickering.
Yes, of course it's a wall projection, you can even here the bird during the reel changes :-) Unfortunately this video taken 12 years ago is the only thing we will get as the original filmer is apparently very "protective"

Yeah. There's literally zero chance that we will see a better transfer. When some of these older guys make up their minds, it's game over.
I don't even want to think about all the other great footage of other bands that will rot away. But thank goodness the Queen footage was chosen for the youtube upload.
