Mine are:
- Bohemian Rhapsody (how obvious, right? :D)
- Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald: I already enjoyed the first film of the Fantastic Beasts series, so I have to watch the second film. I have to admit though that Fantastic Beasts is nowhere near as good as Harry Potter - I just doesn't have that special magic that the Harry Potter film had when they got released in the cinema
- Unga Astrid ("Becoming Astrid"): I'm curious how this film will turn out to be.The plot is about the life of young Astrid Lindgren (1907-2002) who was going to be the most famous author of novels for children. The controversial thing about the film is that Lindgren's daughter complained about the film that her mother would not have been happy about the way the film producers portrayed Astrid
BoRhap - if its good I'll take the day off and a change of clothes to hide in the bathroom for 20 minutes between early morning screenings (taking advantage) and watch the next showing directly after
SUSPIRIA (*remake/"re imagining")
Watching that on Monday hopefully for the conclusion of BEYONDFEST 2018 (*RSVP 'd but it's first come first serve somehow)
AN EVENING WITH BEVERLY LUFF- LINN. .. (already seen it: if you like oddball crap it gets pretty good after it picks up)
CREED II: i guess. I didn't think the first was good enough on developing the title character but found Stallone fascinating again. He's a damn good actor. Grew into it.
i don't expect much but maybe I'll be surprised.
After that i really don't know what's coming out or really care too much. I guess my ears aren't to the ground on this
Never got into Harry Potter bull... and his damn fame is responsible for destroying the UNIVERSAL AMPHITHEATRE
I loved that place. So as far i am concerned Harry Potter can eat a hairy Dick...tangent films as well.
A HOUSE WITH A CLOCK IN ITS WALLS was terrible. I wish I'd left after THRILLER. Eli Roth has no heart..... he's a Gore hound and Gore fetishist.... nothing else. Should stay in that territory. The kids performance was great and far better than the film deserved but Jack black was trash. He was fine for the intro but it just got stupid and not EERIE INDIANA *endearingly stupid. Just trash stupid.
I want to see MANDY as well cause it got great looks from horror fans. I missed its limited theatrical run.
ADDENDUM:
oh and by the way. ...if you didn't catch THRILLER 3-D you really missed out.
The studios are morons for not exploiting this to screen GHOSTS/MOON WALKER/ E-O /THRILLER as a 2 1/2 hour feature.
*shit you not.
*IT WAS AS IF YOU'D NEVER SEEN THE FILM/MUSIC VIDEO BEFORE.
It was THAT damn good
That Laurel and Hardy Biopic about their last tour looks good, set in 1954 when their material wasn't drawing crowds and the health of Hardy was rapidly deteriorating.
I'm looking forward to that far more than the Freddie Biopic.

Good casting in that movie. Really looking forward to it.
SUSPIRIA was pretty great. A well crafted slow burn. A couple of production design things done to specifically alter the substance beneath the film.
Won't spoil it for people unfamiliar with the original. Would suggest you don't read reviews either because they tell everything.
I was pretty satisfied with all but one idiotic scene which almost derailed its credibility for me. It went completely manga/musical number style for a second that almost made me start laughing....for the most part Thom Yorke's score was pretty good for the flick. ...just excepting THAT dumb part.
The film isn't flawless but it's pretty damn great (*even if it's essentially a well done Giallo flick)
a lengthy review without many spoilers: link
I doubt they've got any song writers pulling anything memorable for a Mary Poppins film. ...not that i liked the original anyways ....but hey.
I checked back here looking for some film news. Thanks for the STAN AND OLLIE film. It's already screened to tremendous reviews. Hoping to catch that.
