Topic Title is supposed to be Hammer to Fall in the Wild
Some people might think this is a bit of a spoiler.
I've been watching Stranger Things on Netflix. It takes place in Indiana in 1983 and 84. There are lots of pop culture references and contemporary songs in the soundtrack. I thought, Indiana in the 80s? I'm not holding my breath for any Queen.
Then in season 2 about a minute into episode 6 I got that warm happy feeling! Hammer to Fall fit the story and injected some humour into a subplot that adds some comic relief. Someone put some thought into this. They could have just used AOBTD, but it was nice they used HTF as the scene takes place in November 1984 so soon after it was released in the US according to Wikipedia. AOBTD would have been a bit in-your-face. HTF was a softer touch of humour.
I don't want to say more as I don't want to spoil the show for anyone, but if anyone asks I can say what was going on in the plot.
I'm in the US and I have no idea in which countries one can see Stranger Things.
