A great job, as usual. Thanks a million Chief :-)
You know, you totally deserve a sticky thread with your incredible work, with a full updated list of your downloads as well as a Paypal donation link. The sticky threads are in tragic need of moderation, as the current ones are worthless and there are so many great shares here that are lost to time and to the board's old and buggy tech.
Unfortunately the hair which got stuck in the telecine machine is still there :-) Is there a filter for things like that or is the only possibility to make an image sequence and paint it out?
And I hope that the QPL guys have bought all of the 78/79 European TV footage, and now are cleaning it up and scanning it in HD in preparation for next year's Live Killers box set. But something tells me that it won't happen :-)
And as usually thanks for your work!

Yes, there is a filter. I chose not to remove them because that also would remove some of the remaining grain & detail. Coupled with blended frames that combo would suck a bit in my eyes. So now it at least still looks somewhat authentic :)
Great stuff, thanks. Queen were at their peak in early 78 I believe. I didn't much like "Fat Bottomed Girls" at the time - thought it was too jokey - I was a very young lover of "serious" rock music. I can appreciate the humour now (there are some good aspects to getting old), ha ha.... I like the "Jazz" LP now but it's not as good as the preceding albums. Likewise, NOTW is v good but not as good as the preceding LPs and Races is vg but not as good... ANATO is excellent and IS as good etc. etc. The first 4 albums are all ten-out-of-ten all-time rock classics, and I mean ALL-TIME, ha ha !
