Pls stop sharing this shares on cnhv. They just look like fake links. The progression bar goes on forever and the dl never start. Thanks for your efforts.
Why don't we make one then? :-P
Similarly, how about a Queenzone compilation of the best live recordings out there (in terms of sound quality and/or best performance)? As in individual tracks rather than full live shows. I think I have another idea to cook for a future project...
Back in the day this was a very special compilation.. I once bought at a Dutch fanclub convention around the year of 2000 if I'm right.
4 discs of live material was a huge deal when you just started the live collecting. Ah good times :-)
Yeah it was a great set when it was released.
Golden Salmon has a good idea there. I usually can't be bothered listening to the entire gigs - usually just audition a couple of tracks - so I think if anyone with particularly strong views on great individual song performances who wants to do a collection that would be very very useful. And great to compare other collections too.
A collaborative effort would be faster and would probably result in a higher quality compilation (both in technical and musical terms), so while it could benefit a lot from someone's leadership, we could create something very nice if we join forces.
I really want to do a few things and I'm slowly getting there. Just some more time with my archive, a few questions I'll be asking in this forum and I'll be ready to share something :-)

ha !
Maybe a good starting point would be the early Jazz tour shows. There are quite a few good sounding tapes - Providence, NYC source 3, Montreal, Chicago, and Vancouver. Maybe a "best of" performance could be assembled?
