John Deacon came back for one gig with the daft arse karaoke singer prancing about like an idiot but it was the absolute end of everything 'Queen' ever did (no reissues/solo projects.. NOTHING) OR forget JD and they and carry on doing gigs and make a new album of original songs and being the thing they have turned themselves into?
Neither.
I prefer that John keep his dignity, and I am not really interested in a solo album.
Roger might be able to write a few decent songs, but Brian has not written a decent song this millenium, and Adam is not a good song writer either.
One last gig with Deacon and end it.....The Movie later this year hopefully is good....then finally concentrate on the Anthology. That's how I would end it.
What I want is for John, Brian and Roger to do exactly what they like. I expect they are doing exactly that so that works out fine for me.
Of course I have opinions on what they do or not do but who cares about that? I don't have a say in it and that's how it should be.
Next topic please.

You really have to do something to keep your hypocrisy in check moogy. Prancing? It's funny how some Queenfans can bitch about Adam's "prancing" and totally ignore Freddie's concert antics...i guess that was all very macho and manly?
Jesus...
I don't give a rats ass what JD is doing really. He abandoned ship 20 years ago, hope he stays away and keeps signing autographs for "fans". It would really look like a cashgrab by this point and he will lose all credibility.

Exactly^

I thought Some Things That Glitter was a great track. Everything about it is classic Brian.
I'd love to hear a version of it with him singing.
I feel the same. Although I'd love to hear this song with John on bass and Freddie on vocals. In this way this song would be like a successor of Save Me.
It's a nice song but hardly a masterpiece. Compared to 'Save Me' or 'Show Must Go On', it's amateurish puke; compared to the rest of the album (bar 'Small'), it's a bloody piece of genius. It's Brian going at 5% of his skills rather than 1%... big deal!
I remember when TCR came out and thought it was his best song in years, classic Brian. But when I listen too it now Glitter is only ok. Just a nice song, not on the level of The songs mentioned above. Only a few songs I still like from TCR, Small is a good one. That album is worse than Hot Space in my view. Warboys is worse than body Language, and cosmos Rockin is worse than Staying Power.
