After promising so much in the opening few dates of the US tour, the set list pretty much reverted back to the same old....
Realistically, what would people like to hear on the 2nd leg of the tour? I say realistically as folks will no doubt say White Queen, Innuendo etc etc....
Thanks in advance
We Will Rock You (fast), Get Down Make Love, It's Late, Spread Your Wings, Now I'm here, Mother down.
Out:
Hammer To Fall, Two Fux, Killer Queen, Break Free
Realistically, at least Spread Your Wings and Its Late should come back, and there's no reason why Sleeping on the Sidewalk couldn't be aired if they are celebrating NOTW.
Sadly I don't think we'll get any of these and we'll see I Want To Break Free, Radio Ga Ga, Tie Your Mother Down, Hammer to Fall etc etc as usual :-(
It's a shame that they talked up the NOTW anniversary, aired Spread Your Wings and Its Late for a few shows then dropped them.
There's so many other songs they could play yet we're given virtually the same set list, bar 3-4 songs, that they played on their first tour with PR.
I've still spent my £80 odd quid to see them, just because it's a thrill to see Brian and Roger, let's hope they spring a surprise or two come December in Newcastle.......
It's difficult to see why they stopped playing these tracks unless they felt the US audience were not responding to them... Hopefully the UK leg will see them back again, I think BM has been inundated with requests to do so, we shall see...

Why not tween DR B with requests?
Haha tbh I don't see him taking requests and certainly don't think he's the kind of bloke that appreciates criticism, constructive or otherwise.... I get the feeling BM is pretty much set in his ways
I'm still hopeful for a John Deacon snub (*it is after all August and he'll be celebrating another birthday on the 19th -woo hoo! - Everybody loves John Deacon! )
They'll play a montage of clips from "the immortals", "magic years", "Budapest" and throw in "Stutter rap" clips while playing "WHO NEEDS YOU"
And maybe someone in the audience will
Chuck a can
Chuck a can
Chuck
chuck
Chuck a can
John will be furious in the press and will threaten to release "hangman (1977)" and "the duck house video" onto QZ.
;-)
I am hoping that they play Body Language with Adam Lambert with his leathers on which are a size to small by the way ,sat on top of a plastic cock,Then I can come home pack away all my Queen collection, shout its over three times and then put all of this crap behind me.Then go to as many Muse gigs as I can and watch a group who are in 2017 not 1975 or 1977.The why Lambert sits on Franks head during Killer Queen and sings is revolting,i don't think Brian or Roger give a toss about the fans who were there in the beginning so why should we.
