Adam's AMA performance in case you've never seen it and need a laugh. Okay. Not an interview but I started this self-indulgent thread. So although nothing to do with Queen, I still cringe and laugh when I see this. In case you aren't familiar, let me give you the background. Adam had just come off American Idol and had his first album out. He was given the huge honor of being allowed to close the American Music Awards with his first single.
All his Glamberts were SO pumped up for this. This was truly the ONLY performance I've ever seen Adam give at which I was truly horrified. EVERYthing went wrong. I never liked this song anyway and I don't know why the record label released this as his first single. He looked terrible. He was off-key (and contrary to popular belief here) he is rarely off-key. His stage setup was rinky-dink compared to all the great performers who went before him (think Lady Gaga, etc.). He pushed the male dancer's face into his crotch and on the East Coast they blanked out the sound (why they did that, I'll never know). By the time it was shown on the West Coast, they had blanked out the whole crotch shove. He kissed his male band member. And funniest of all, he TRIPPED, doing a Ninja roll on the stage. You could hear him thud as he rolled. I think he recovered quite nicely. But anyway here it is .. link
Such a crappy commercial attempting song. Sounds like a reject of some corporate Britney/Avril garbage.
He looks like a clown there too.
This is the kind of crap that's forced down people's throats if they engage in mainstream "arts"....generic corporate group study "music"
That said. ....haha he handled the trip very well.

A diverse set
Queen and Adam Lambert played an eclectic set in Brooklyn that featured many classic hits from Queen's extensive catalog. They opened their show with a snippet of "We Will Rock You," which was met with a raucous response.
It was followed by "Hammer to Fall" and the infectious "Stone Cold Crazy."
They immediately broke into the fan-favorite "Another One Bites the Dust," which was a high-energy performance, and the same was true for "Fat Bottomed Girls" and "Killer Queen." "I Want It All" was a fun sing-along with the Barclays Center audience.
"Under Pressure" was a captivating duet between Roger Taylor and Lambert, where the iconic British rocker showcased his prowess on drums, as well as his rumbling co-lead vocals (which blended well with Lambert's).
A Grammy-nominated pop star, Lambert's stage presence was a true force of nature, unparalleled in the music industry. Other powerhouse tunes included "Somebody to Love," coupled with "Crazy Little Thing Called Love," prior to closing with "Radio Ga Ga," and their signature song, the multi-faceted vocal "Bohemian Rhapsody."
Lambert performs his new single
An added bonus was hearing Lambert sing his latest solo single "Two Fux," accompanied by Queen.
This song, released on Warner Bros. Records, deserves to be his next smash hit on the Billboard charts, due to its fun and liberating feel.
Following their 22-song set, Lambert and Queen returned for a two-song encore, which featured two of their biggest hits, "We Are The Champions" and the vivacious "We Will Rock You," which were the perfect songs to close this dynamic rock show.
Former judge Paula Abdul once said it best about Adam Lambert during his days on the reality singing competition "American Idol," and that same quote still applies to this day: "It was like watching the Olympics, and you're our Michael Phelps."
The Verdict
Overall, Adam Lambert and Queen gave it their all at the Barcalys Center in Brooklyn, for a wonderful evening of classic rock music. They had their New York fans in the palms of their hands, singing along with these Queen classics every step of the way. Brian May plays lead guitar like no other, and Roger Taylor is in his own league as a drummer. Queen's headlining concert at the Barclays Center with Adam Lambert earned an A+ rating. link
