This was my 3rd Queen show and the second with Lambert. It was night and day better than 3 years ago.
For me, the very best moment of the show was the last glimpse of Brian May as he exited the stage. They had taken their bows to GSTQ and were walking off...Brian was the last in line. Just before going dark, he glanced over his shoulder, seemingly, to take it in one last time. The look of "humble awe" was just striking to me. Surely he appreciates this last ride to so many who were delighted. After the glance, he thrust the Red Special skyward in his right hand amid cheers. To me, his heart is still there.
The close second was Roger singing I'm in Love With My Car. I wasn't expecting it and the entire band nailed it.
I'll be in Omaha to see them on July 8 with my siblings and some extended family. It'll likely be the last time to ever hear the Red Special live...but what an amazing sound...
