Simply put: How will YOU celebrate the legacy of John Deacon? Will there be flash mobs of bassists gathered at strip clubs (*bass in hand)
Will you DRESS UP as John Deacon?
Will you buy a John Deacon mask and wear it to work?
Will you simply play John Deacon's immortal hit by the IMMORTALS - There's No Turning Back?
Will said video be released by QPL in HD on their YouTube Channel?
(*all versions I've seen look pretty bad quality)
Will you play bass? ...buy a Bass? request a Bass?
which reminds me. ...
"John if you're not using your bass guitar this year, would you mind giving it to me?
It doesn't have to be the Fender, it could just be the Buzzard from the Friends Will Be Friends video. .
please?
Thanks, John. I for one, love you regardless of the day. Thanks for the tunes, inspiration and motivation."
Oh it'd really be nice if there a WERE a plan to gather QUEEN fans exclusively in a flash mob of sorts. Especially if it got news coverage.
With each "passing" artist (I'm thinking mainly about the worst shock one I've felt: Prince Rogers Nelson)... It really would be nice to give something back other than dollars on another compilation (sorry, I couldn't help it)
Something to be appreciated while the guys are still around
Particularly a much underappreciated guy like John.
DEACY FOR A DAY?
AUGUST 19TH "BIKE IT" TO WORK DAY?
it'd take some planning: particularly because it's a small minority of serious QUEEN fans here. Lots and lots of planning.
maybe even just BIKE IT (SHIRT) DAY
Damn, I want that Buzzard too. In that case, I'll have the fretless P-Bass and /or the Music Man bass.
How will I celebrate Deacy's b-day eh? hmm... well I'd jam along to some of his songs on bass.
If that ain't enough, I'd listen to.... link

Planning to visit a stripclub in deacy's yellow 1986 Wembley shorts. I will not be wearing Any Nickers.
