Not sure if there are any fans of the HBO show 'Veep' here.
It prides itself on its sharp, quick dialogue that usually contains rough language and often very biting, insulting humor.
That said, I've been catching up with the latest season over the past week, and even I was not quite ready for this exchange from Episode 3 of Season 5:
-
Mike McLintock: "This is my table."
Roger Furlong: "And this is my fat johnson and you can suck it as long as you promise not to put your dirty gay mustache on it. What is that, some kind of side effect from your AIDS medication or did you shave it off of Freddie Mercury's corpse?"
-
Um... wow.
yeah, wow....
But Veep is freaking hilarious.
(And the moustache is awful)
It gets better and better the more it moves away from The Thick Of It.
The current season is brilliant even without Armando Ianucci.
The most recent Episode (9 - Kissing your Sister) is fabulous and a very different tone.
It's the culmination of a season long running element... Hope you get there soon.
Finale on Sunday... Sundays are going to be very different without Game Of Thrones and Veep.
Sounds like wannabe "edgy" conversation, less plausible than Tarantino 's worst writing.
But then again. You've just quoted one bit. Haven't seen the show. That's pretty disgraceful though.
LOL - well the guy who spewed that out on the show is a complete idiot, so him having his facts fucked up kinda falls in line with what an asshole the character is.

He didn't have a moustache when he died, plus he was cremated. Do some research Julia. -.-
xD
you're going to have to explain the relevance of cremation in your comment.
unless you know something WE don't - Freddie was NOT cremated the instance he died. therefore, his corpse would've been about for some time.

That's a moo point....
Like a cow's opinion...
It doesn't matter....
It's moo.
