I think it's a matter of taste and availability.
I have no qualms about the 1991 Hollywood releases as this series was my first exposure to the band.
Do I enjoy the sound of the 2011 remasters ? Absolutely, but not enough to go out and buy the same cd's once again. I know some people on here compared the new releases to those already released and there was some discussion about the overall volume levels being considerably louder on the 2011 releases. Whether or not this accounts to "better" again is a matter of taste (to me, at least).
Just my two cents.
hollywood records: sheer hear attack (in the lap of the gods) and the miracle (i want it all) have incorrect masters... and some early editions of news of the world have glitches during it's late.
island... queen, queen II, sheer heart attack and innuendo are the biggest winners in terms of A vs. B. These are worthwhile upgrades if you currently own the hollywood records version.
if you are totally against loudness, etc... then the rest go with hollywood if you can find them... but if you want true flat sound, etc. go with the UK 1994 digital masters series.
I have all the Hollywood Records albums, i bought them right after they came out.
I know that my Queen II has a glitch, and that on The Game, the intro to Crazy Little Thing Called Love has a big glitch, as if the tape speeded up in half a second.
And i do not know if this is a glitch or not but i know that Another One Bites The Dust is not properly tuned, it was either somewhat to high, or to low.
If i play a long with the album, that is the song that i need to re-tune my guitar.

The song is sped up by half a semitone by default. The band was experimenting with this at the time. It's the way it was meant to be :)
