We need a product for 2015 that isn't food, drink or a rehash, and I've been going over the sufficient-looking recordings of infamous gigs on YouTube for audio aspects. Hyde Park and various bits of Hammersmith '75 that I could find in hastiness sound pretty damn listenable to me, and Earls Court '77 has the band on fire sonically! The live box-set that's being spitballed is a clear step. Let's just think about good material logically from a die-hard view:
1. The compilation train has truly come to the end of the line.
2. Bar Rainbow, the last live album was Montreal '81, back in 2007.
3. Only about 20% of the 40th "bonuses" were actually bonuses.
4. Anthologies may seem whiny, but it's logical, re: The Lot.
5. Love Kills '14 isn't viewed how it would have been in 1995.
6. Same goes for the TMBMTLTT mix - a shameful own-goal.
