Here's a sample for you Kurgan, I just used the same clip you have used :) FYI - I won these from a bid on eBay for 99p for the whole trilogy! :D -Chin |

That's a bargain, are they all good? How did you make the transfers, via composite? |

The Kurgan wrote: That's a bargain, are they all good? How did you make the transfers, via composite? They're all good but I believe in Volume 2 there is a quick bit during a section on Hyde Park where it messes up but otherwise everything is great! I transferred them using a Panasonic DMR-ES30VS using a SCART cable which recorded onto a DVD+R. VHS (PAL) - Panasonic DMR-ES30VS - DVD+R I believe that's what the linage would be^? :) -Chin |

Barry Durex wrote: No need to apologise, it looks good to me. Thanks! These things aren't as easy to come by as you think, I found it very difficult to get a decent brand at a decent price lol, but it was worth it in the end as I finally got some home videos converted. I've also thought about starting a small local service where I convert VHS & DV tapes onto DVD and earn back the cost of the machine lol, I'll put small posters around my school and various public notice boards lol :) -Chin |

Ha!, I just spotted my wife amongst the convention footage. BTW, I thought there was no need for a scart cable when making transfers on these combination units. There appears to be an s-video in and out, so I would assume a transfer could be done this way using the internal circuitry. An s-video transfer would give the best result, if it has an edit mode switch use that too. If none of this is possible fear not, your transfer looks pretty good anyway. |

Looks great. Thanks for the links and big effort for sharing... Is it possible to announce these discs as mkv files? I'm collecting official and bootleg videos as DVD, but at the time it's better to have videos as mkv or avi for watching on TV... Is there any plans for that? Thanks again... |
