Is Freddie Mercury's former home (street) blocked off at this time. Sort of thinking about walking by I will be staying about 1 hour north of London and don't want to brave the London tube for nothing. Any other Queen type places I should visit while I'm in the area? Any photo's of other Queen fans on this forum want to post pic's.

Hi!
As far as I know, you can go there without any problems.I live in London, but the last time I've been there was in November (24.11),so hopefully nothing has changed since then. And if you want to visit Queen related places, check this list out: link . :)
I'll be visiting London as well in late September for a few days to catch at least one of the David Gilmour shows at Royal Albert Hall. May as well take this opportunity to ask fellow Queenies here for help on listing all the important Queen-related landmarks like Freddie's Garden Lodge home, so that I'm not (hopefully) missing out any opportunities to check them out while I'm there :)
By the way, on a sidenote me, tsskiller and Gregsynth visited the site of Freddie's old apartment building in New York almost 4 years ago :)
Can you bring me a Canada goose, mens Langford parka, in large, military green, they're like gold dust over here and they don't do international orders.
Thanks.
I'm not a Londoner but I visit this beautiful place twice a year.
I think Garden Lodge is worth a visit! You can combine it with a visit of the Earl's Court Theatre and also Kensington High Street (only 3 bus stops ahead!)
Haha, Not cheap here either..my girls want one each but I won't even get splash out for them at Christmas because of the cost. We just survived a brutal winter here in Toronto I think you would be overheating wearing one in England! I can't believe they won't ship to the UK.....crazy.

Thank you for the replies and links. Looking forward to the trip. My 2 girls will come with me to visit the outside of Garden Lodge and we will post a pic when we get there.

As long as you provide the money (Paypal or Western Union should work just fine) and let me know which retailer carries it, I have no problem doing that for you :)

Visit the site of Queen Prods at 46 Pembridge Road, Notting Hill Gate, the band / crew / fan club offices (in the basement) for many years. Go over the road to the Sun in Splendour the local watering hole for crew and office staff :-)

You're very kind inu-liger !
No problem :)
Just PM me whenever you're ready to make the purchase happen, and I'll send you my details.
I'll be in London the week of the first three David Gilmour shows at RAH, so we'll arrange a meetup closer to the time once I've figured out and prioritized where I want to go sightseeing.
welcome and I go to Canada Ontario 3 times a year and you must be mad to visit London its a shithole lol im mean London Ontario is better lol anyway I think you can still walk down majority of the road to logan place? but you should also visit Scotland etc while you are here and hope you have an awesome time :)

I think it's too impractical to work to be honest, but thanks for you're remarkably kind offer, you are a star.
Ah! I see. Well we could also work out shipping it privately from my end (OR from within your country once I'm there, to make it cheaper) :)
