Anyone knows as Mountain Studios looked in the QUEEN Times, is there a plan/sketch ??
I was there last November to see the Studio Experience, but the only "original" room was the one with the mix desk.
i wanna know all details when you entered the original door (side of the casino) where are stairs, where was the drum set…….
How many studio rooms where there (or was it only the big casino room)
There are less photos in internet, only the black/white one from "Jazz" give a little information.
THANK YOU
As you state, the inside gatefold sleeve from 'Jazz' gives a view of the main room (though I recall readign that this was a composite of a few shots?), but that's a bout all I've really seen too.
There's a shot of Queen in Studio A here: link
Thanks cmsdrums but i've seen this.
And the other two: Duckingham was not the question ;-)
I ask if anybody in this forum had a plan or more photos how the studio looked original. where was the a studio….where stand the instruments….what about the casino in these days when QUEEN was in the big room and so on.
The experience room was a bar ???
Also in Wikipedia the Infos are not really enough.
Someone told me there was stairs when he entered the studio door with golden lp's
I need somebody with the whole story from the begin of QUEEN Times in Montreux, till the end ;-)
Sad that David Richards can't help anymore :-(
