I skimmed through this. It's just too frustrating to listen to the ones who don't quite get it. I don't think we can fault the kids for approaching it with a definite interpretation - that's just what they were required to do for the video. I hope the guys behind the camera corrected the kid who thought Mercury wrote it about facing his death, though :P
I love how most of them don't understand very basic lines such as "Mama, just killed a man", and the fact that 'Scaramouche' isn't a thing, but a name... Lack of basic understanding of the English language makes them miss these basic things.
