Hi I have just received Kerry Ellis's new album, The Album is Quite good & well produced.
The only down side is that Brian only plays on the track "The Way We Were". I would have hoped for more interaction on the album from Brian, but , hey!!! "Beggars can't be Choosers" & it's great to have a studio version, even though it is only the one song.
I kind of wondered what happened in a way. It *IS* a bit strange. They had the whole Acoustic By Candlelight thing going and all throughout they mentioned having ideas for her next album and working on things and then all of a sudden QAL came along and he doesn't even mention her. He hasn't promoted the CD on his website or anything and she hasn't mentioned him.
As for him being on any track - is that from the liner notes? Is he mentioned anywhere else like the Thanks section?

There's no need to make such crass allegations...
It just happens to be that working with an international celebrity like Adam has given Brian more pleasure than his previous partner.
Don't hear the album by now but for me it's the right way. It was never said, that Brian May has taken part of that project like on "Anthems". Kerry Ellis works enough and very extended with Brian May by her side... now it's time for her own thing, I belive.
MAYniac91, you're not right. I think sometime in the beginning of this year (or by the end of 2013) it WAS announced from Brian's and Kerry's side that they were working on a new studio album. I clearly remember it!
I think we will get a new album from them at some stage, although it wouldn't be the first project that Brian had started and then got sidetracked and forgotten about.
Kerry said during an interview: "I'm really proud of it. It's the first album I've done by myself. Obviously Brian [May]'s produced my other albums, so this is the first time I've ventured out alone. I felt that I was ready - Brian's been such a great mentor over the past three albums, I learnt so much. We'll be doing some more shows and going back into the studio - there'll be more from us." link
However, I find it quite strange that Brian did not say or write anything about this new album, not even a re-tweet...
