Yes he did. Another point worth mentioning is that JD uses the stage a lot more than he did later, even venturing to front centre. By late 79 he was almost lurking in the shadows!
Has anyone else noticed the difference in sound quality between disc 1 (Queen 2 tour) and disc 2 (Sheer Heart Attack tour). Disc 1 is clear and crisp whereas disc 2 seems somewhat muddy in comparison. Don't get me wrong this is an incredible release and anticipate great things in the future if Houston or Earls Court gets the same treatment and deserved official release. But I am a little disappointed at the sound quality on disc 2, especially with Brian's guitar.

yes, for example the guitar arpeggio of White Queen of november show sounds darker than the march one, but this is the same sound of the old vhs release
