Just for a bit of fun, complete the topic title with something that defines you as a huge Queen fan. For example, mine would be; "You know you're a Queen fan when a live track comes around on iPod shuffle and you know which gig it is by the sound of first five seconds of crowd noise" Next...... |

Stelios wrote: ^^^^ noorie, what was that line in Jagger's biography saying , can you share?I do not remember the exact wording naturally, but it was something to the effect that the advent of punk rock and the Sex Pistols, unsettled the established rock bands. The Beatles went off to study spiritualism in India, David Bowie started baking bread (I know that sounds very strange!), and the Rolling Stones went on hiatus, with Mick going off to the US. But not Freddie Mercury! He dismissed the tide of punk rock. He had people to entertain, and stadiums to fill..... As I said, this is just the gist of it. I am sure the exact words are very different. I read the book about 4 years ago... |
