***Press Release: Queen Extravaganza Announce New UK Tour - On Sale Now!***
May 9, 2014 - Following the resounding success of the recent North American and European tours, The Queen Extravaganza will return to the UK for select performance dates in September 2014. Tickets are now ON SALE @ www.queenextravaganza.com/tour-and-tickets/
The Queen Extravaganza is a spectacular touring concert show designed to take the glorious music and live experience of legendary rock band Queen and bring it to generations of fans as performed by new musical talent. Two of Queen’s original band mates and songwriters— iconic drummer Roger Taylor and legendary guitarist Brian May—are the masterminds behind The Queen Extravaganza.
Taylor hand-picked the band members from almost 1,000 entries through a unique online talent search with video submissions generating more than 10 million views around the globe. The late Mark Fisher created the staging and production elements, which are enhanced by rare footage from Queen’s extensive archives and newly-created imagery. The band made their debut performing on the popular TV show American Idol in 2012.
“The Queen Extravaganza is a new show specially designed to enable new fans, together with fans of old, to celebrate the music of Queen in a heart-stopping event,” says Roger Taylor. “It’s very spectacular, it’s very visual, there are going to be some shocks and some tremendous surprises. It will be a rock celebration in the Royal tradition.”
The 90-minute show features more than 20 Queen classics drawn from the band’s biggest hits: “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “Another One Bites the Dust,” “Crazy Little Thing Called Love,” “Under Pressure,” “We Will Rock You/We Are the Champions,” “A Kind of Magic,” “Radio Ga Ga,” “Somebody to Love,” and “Killer Queen” as well as other fan favorites.
The Queen Extravaganza band is: vocalist Marc Martel; guitarist Nick Radcliffe; bassist Francois-Olivier Doyon; drummer Tyler Warren; and keyboardist and musical director Brandon Ethridge.

I'll be in London the 13th of September watching Kate Bush! So I hope those other places aren't too far away! Guess I won't be seeing Brian and Roger then! :-(

Jennifer's having a baby. Jeff Scott Soto and Yvan I think were only present on the first North American leg up until and including Edmonton.
Thanks.
It seems that hey are finding their confort zone as they go along witch is normal in this situation. I'm glad they're having success with the tours they're making. Maybe some day Roger join them for a song or two. That would be brilliant!
I don't have to travel, they're coming to Cambridge. I can walk to the Corn Exchange after work. Having said that, based on a Magnum concert I went to many years ago in the Corn Exchange, the sound could be very boomy.
Also no Jennifer, which is a shame. Many Queen songs suit a woman's voice given Freddie's range. I thought Lisa Stansfield was very good at the Freddie tribute concert.
But anyway, they're coming to my doorstep so I can't turn it down. And having just booked online, the front half of the balcony is already booked up which is pretty fast.
Not averse to there being more than one vocalist in principle, but I'm glad the rest are gone. The chick was bloody ordinary at best, and the other guy was a poor match. It was jarring to listen to when they'd change vocalists.
I'll agree Marc Martel is the best of the vocalists they've used. But I thought Jennifer was OK, and having two vocalists (plus Tyler on drums) gives more options for harmonies and things like Under Pressure. So we'll be losing that aspect, unless the stand in guitarist is also a vocalist.
They split Jennifer's songs between Marc and Tyler (drummer).
Tyler is doing Dragon Attack, AKOM, and Jennifer's verse in I Want It All. Marc is doing You're My Best Friend, Jennifer's verse in AOBTD, and going solo in these former duets with Jennifer: DSMN, Fat Bottomed Girls and Tie Your Mother Down. Interestingly, for Under Pressure, Brandon (keyboards) took over Jennifer's part in the duet.

"hopefully we can get this garbage removed"
Well the United States of Government are working on this issue, and Canary Wharf and in particular, 8, Canada Square E14 is the first target but there are many others in Zone 2 and Zone 1 of London.

Saw them yesterday in copenhagen. Absoluty gr8!
They seemed to enjoy being on stage.
Ofcourse not Queen, but if you like Queens music and like to see some great musicians. Go!
only remark: it was a small venue. maybe sold out.
But I havent seen any add or whatsoever... I think will do better in a bigger setting.

Should definitely promote the shows better! People hardly know about them in Norway. Everybody that see this band is very impressed.
