I know the moderation-topic went nowhere, but I'm fairly sure everyone agrees that outright spam, i.e. completely un-Queen-related commercial advertising, is unwanted here. Right now, there is one spam-topic on the first page of Queen - Serious Discussion, one on Collecting, and no fewer than NINE on the first page of Queen - General Discussion.
There appears to be no hope of dealing with the issue of trolls and the like, but can't we come to some workable solution to dealing with the increasing amount of spam flooding these boards?
At first - do not reply to those threads !
Second - there is no second..since that Lambert fiasco , I have buried my hopes for any proper moderation. but I do agree with Gregsynth, there are a few users who could be "worthy" mods.

You do have lamberts thread. What you want yet?
If you're too stupid to even know what a topic is about, shut up.
ON TOPIC: three days, and the spam-topics are all still there. Despite YV saying that outright spam would be deleted. How hard can it be to, say, deputize two or three QZ-ers from different time-zones to report outright spam only and then quickly delete that?
If you have her on Facebook, PM her through there. She's had issues with the QZ inbox notifications not always properly working, so FB is usually faster these days.
And yay! Six more spam-topics added to General Discussion today!
@Inu: I don't use Facebook. Should it really be necessary for me (or anyone else) to point it out when 17 spam-topics (and counting) are filling up the forums?
