For me it's all about music, so i really understand that when someone says that Adam can't sing or doesn't have a good voice they become defensive and attack back. The thing is - in my opinion - Adam is one exceptional singer anywhere in the world. And i think like this since the first time i saw him on American Idol. There were some performances there that brought a tear to my eye- and this was long before he was even considered to play with Queen in the finals. I try to keep an open mind about music and performers in general. I wouldn't say that they're just like any other Queenzoner, because as i see it today Queenzone is a very negative place where you can't discuss music anymore without trolling from someone, even members who think they're not trolls. You're not allowed do discuss and appreciate Queen anymore in Queenzone - and this is a so called Queen fan site?! There's a difference between an honest opinion and just plain negativity, and i can easily spot the difference. On the other hand, i'm very impressed with the support Adam fans give to him on his official forum, always supporting the man, and now they support both Brian and Roger as well. As i said before, i really believe that this new tour has more to do with the support given by Adam fans than Queen fans. These things don't go unnoticed with promoters who keep track of blogs and forums, and thank God for that, because if they took Queenzone or Queenonline seriously there wouldn't be a tour or anything else for that matter. Remember that this is the same site whose members claimed that Paul Rodgers can't sing either, and some believe that it was impossible for Paul to have been one of Freddie's favorites, despite the fact that Both Brian and Roger stated otherwise. So my feeling is that - with possible some exceptions - i believe that Adam fans are a very positive bunch and more fun to be around with at least on the internet, and i don't have the slightest problem admitting to this. |

Honestly, I've been interacting with Glamberts since Adam first started singing with the band. Generally they are what most artist worshippers are like towards the beginning of their careers. Full of hope optimism and love. There is a large percentage though that are beyond fanatical and it really is detrimental to how the rest of the fanbase looks but for the most part they are just a very positive fanbase. Well Lambert fans are obnoxious. Most of them have not even heard of Queen or there legacy, and i find that the tour is all about Lambert and Brian & Roger are just back ground extras! Still while i do not agree what is happening, just let them get all this shit out of there systems and hopefully Queen will be Lambert free soon! Looking forward to a real Queen album in the autumn with Freddie. Does anyone know if John Deacon is contributing to the new Queen tracks? |

You asked why you weren't being accepted by the AL fans. I just gave you an answer, but, as usual, you cannot accept it! For almost 3 years you have mocked Adam and his fans just to stay on good terms with MM and the others who spoke against him. If you are a fan, you wouldn't have done that quite so willingly and strongly. You are welcome to your opinion, of course, as to whether Adam suits the Queen music, but you expend as much energy speaking against it as we do speaking for it, so I don't think you should be the one throwing stones at the people who are trying to be positive instead of so annoyingly negative as you are! End of conversation, again, on my side, but you are free to go on for another 16 pages like you usually do! |

Hopefully the s/w is written so that they can see every vote and see if any duplicates came from the same computer. The IP addresses will match up to accounts, so if anyone has voted more than once, or has more than one account, the mods would see it. |

I know on QOL, the members can only vote on polls. I thought the same went for here. |

It's probably The Milkman -- he's some kind of computer whiz -- at least he's on his computer 24/7! I wouldn't be surprised if he is a hacker as well! |

Hmm. I remember inflating votes on my old "which John Deacon style do you prefer" poll. ... 70's hair. Gaga video, grey hair etc. FTR I voted twice for trolls. Seems that all past history vanishes upon a new day and the results are no longer visible. ALSO non users can vote as well. So it's hardly accurate. Just always accepted that that was the way it is. (Shrug) I don't feel like signing up on a poll website every time someone wants an OFFICIAL count. Someone needs to rewrite the script on these polls |
inu-liger 29.03.2014 22:40 |
Well at least the results shifted the other way around... |

Well, if Barb ever follows through with my request, we could potentially find out whether or not our concerns about duplicate profiles were justified or not. |

taptap wrote: The IP addresses will match up to accounts, so if anyone has voted more than once, or has more than one account, the mods would see it.Not true. You can vote with your same IP repeatedly by signng out and signing back in Same IP. I created a few fake accounts just to see if it could be done and it can but then I notice you don't have to |
Iron Butterfly 29.03.2014 23:24 |
Omg! Will I be banned if I voted more than once? I mean like people get banned from QOL for spamming, and such :O LOL |

The technical problems of this website are ridiculous. Trolls can "overrun" this place whenever they want. Sad ! |

So I've had intimate experience with super-enthusiasm! haha The issues I have with Glamberts (at least the ones who post on Queen boards) that I haven't encountered in my other fandoms are: 1. The sensible/moderate Glamberts generally don't call out the fanatics on their idiocy. I guess they feel they have to stick together and support each other NO MATTER WHAT when among "outsiders" but the problem is by being silent (or worse, sticking up for the fanatics) they get lumped in with them. 2. There's this "Green Eggs and Ham" vibe from a lot of Glamberts when in the company of those who are not as enthusiastic about AL as they are. As in: Average punter: I don't like green eggs and Adam. Glambert: But maybe you'd like him in Kiev? Hammersmith? iHeart? In this picture? In this video? In this tweet? In a boat? On a moat? With a goat? Etc. :D Speaking of Green Eggs and Ham, I love this brilliant musical rendition of the Dr. Seuss book by the band Moxy Fruvous: link |

Go take a guitar, stick yourself in a tub of water along with an amp, plug the guitar into said amp and turn it on. I hear you can get some real sizzling tones that way. |
