As far as it's been documented, no. They didn't play any concerts between late October 1984 and January 1985, between July 1985 and June 1986 and from August 1986 onwards anyway, so it would've been absurd to perform a Xmas song in summer.

absolutely. but not unlikely.
i was at Castle Donington on August 22, 1981 when Slade performed "Merry Christmas Everybody" as the final song of their setlist :-)
Wonder how they would have done it live?
Freddie at the piano with Brian playing small fills and chimes i imagine. Would've sounded better than the horrible 80's production that we have on the record.

This is all speculation, but I very much doubt they would've had Fred at the piano. The only 80's songs songs featuring Freddie on piano were PtG and IAHL, which had it as main instrument. Otherwise, he didn't play (e.g., Life Is Real, FWBF) or he only played on those which had been recorded in the 70's (Bo Rhap, Champions, StL).
My guess is Spike would've played synth and Fred would've sung it without playing any instrument.
