It's a serious question. Seeing that people have different thoughts and opinions on this, I've decided to ask this question directly. Would you rather prefer a 70's concert (Rainbow for instance) or a few new tracks from Queen/FM+MJ? Discuss. |
pietrek 26.07.2013 08:48 |
New tracks, bootlegs are enough for me. Really. |
rocknrolllover 26.07.2013 08:50 |
Quite interesting topic, you know . I am agree that it would be cool to add a few tracks from some of the concert. The main thing not Adam Lambert. Otherwise I won't download and I will not buy this product ! |
Unniendo 26.07.2013 08:53 |
I want it all! :-) |
rocknrolllover 26.07.2013 08:54 |
Oh, I don't want to see remix with PSY as a new track ;-) |
Sebastian 26.07.2013 09:00 |
70's concert, outtakes/stems/multi's from early albums, 'naked' versions, first takes, backing tracks, etc. are, IMO, way more interesting than things that weren't good enough for Hot Space or The Works. As for MJ things, yeah, that'd be nice... but I still prefer the classics. |

I'd be content with my booted DVDs of shows if they'd release all the demos/out-takes etc. Tbh, I've watched the boots so much, that I don't think an official release would enhance my enjoyment all that much (well, maybe with the exception of Hyde Park lol) although it would still be nice if they released them anyway. |

But I still remain curious of what they rejected. Without a doubt there must be a wealth of unreleased material. Feelings Feelings is a great track, so we mustn't rule out the possibility of more. |

I really don't mind what they release, so long as it's something we've never heard before. I'd even be happy with a "Hot Space Outtakes" album, or a Works Tour release. However, if I had to choose, I would have to choose the unreleased tracks. |

anything with Freddie singing. Seriously, Freddie can sing a lullaby and it would be beautiful. |
Thistle 26.07.2013 17:46 |
^ amen :) |
Sebastian 27.07.2013 12:28 |
Lullabies are beautiful already, it's sort of the point. |

I guess the more accurate response would be, "I could listen to Freddie sing the phone book." And I seriously would. I feel the same way about Idina Menzel. |

Unreleased tracks but not with that pervert jacko |
Heavenite 28.07.2013 07:13 |
More singing from Freddie, even if it's more solo tracks and b-sides possibly originally sung by Brian and Roger, otherwise that would be a Lost Opportunity, if you get my drift. And if there is anything new, that would be even better. |
Heavenite 28.07.2013 07:17 |
More singing from Freddie, even if it's more solo tracks, album tracks and b-sides that were originally sung by Brian and Roger. Freddie singing Leaving Home Ain't Easy, or what about Fun It? To not do this, if it exists, would be a Lost Opportunity! If you get my drift. And if there is anything new, man that's just incredible! :-) The concerts are great, but to the extent we know they exist, they will be released at some point. Even if it's by Brian's Roger's and Deaky's kids. The only thing we need to do is live long enough. On the other hand, finishing off any Queen tracks needs to be done before the remaining members have passed on, if there is going to be any authenticity to the project. |

scollins wrote: Unreleased tracks but not with that pervert jackoI see "guilty until proven innocent" is still alive and well in the western world. You do know that the father of the first boy who accused MJ of molestation back in 1993 committed suicide a week after MJ died, right? Stick to the topic at hand, please. |

Hearing Roger's guide vocal of the Invisible Man made the 2011 remasters worth the price of admission. |

scollins wrote: Unreleased tracks but not with that pervert jackoThat is really rude. Do you have any proof accusing MJ of it? |

TBF, the original meaning of 'pervert' is deviating from what is considered socially acceptable. In that sense, all four Queenies were/are perverts: one was reportedly twice as promiscuous as a pissed rabbitt, the other one was photographed in a strip club and the other two cheated on their wives. Even in the case MJ didn't actually molest anyone ('innocent 'til proven guilty'), his admission of sleeping in the same bed as non-related kids is already outside the 'norm' enough to fit the definition of 'pervert'. Then again, 90% of people would be perverts according to that. Still, that doesn't make FM, JD, BM, RT or MJ bad musicians, does it? |

Hearing Roger's guide vocal of the Invisible Man made the 2011 remasters worth the price of admission. I would definitely agree with that. Although I think that having Brian and Rog doing a guide vocal for Freddie was a good choice on the bonus tracks EP that went with the reissues. But for both vocal and sheer star power, especially when put up next to Jacko, Freddie doing versions of their original vocal tracks would be best choice I think for the forthcoming compilation album. |
