Just watched this fascinating documentary on Bowie, in his own words (over 5 years from 1971) on BBC2. Great stuff, with some "unseen" archive footage. Further highlights what an odd, but engaging character he really is.
But, one thing was pointed out, and I didn't know it before: the comedian Jim Bowen, of Bullseye fame, was his drummer during the Ziggy Stardust years! (See pic).
