Nope. Freddie Mercury, Brian May, and Roger Taylor all died in a horrible bus crash in 1980. John Deacon miraculously survived and played along with three very good look- and sound-alikes from then until the Freddie-Mercury doppleganger died of cancer. So, no, it's almost completely a different band.

I wouldn't want to make a playlist of all my favorite Queen songs, because I would be tempted to ONLY listen to that playlist, then the really good songs would get overplayed and Queen would lose its charm. So instead of making a gigantic list of all my favorite songs, I made a playlist of my LEAST favorite songs so I could listen to that and become better acquainted with the music.
