12. Soul Brother
Round 1 had votes spread out all across the board, with the only tracks not receiving a single vote being Staying Power and Put Out the Fire. However, the main battle was between Body Language and Soul Brother. In the end, the latter came out with just one vote more than the former, and so Soul Brother is the worst Hot Space-era track. Ouch. Meanwhile, Body Language lives to see another day.
As an entirely unrelated album was entitled, who's next? Remember to vote for you LEAST favorite song!

I just remembered I still need to take this lovable hunk of junk out for another spin so I can remember it completely.
Such a shame. I think its a fun track.
Especially from a band NOT known for singles-only b-sides.
Might suggest a favorite b-side poll (proper songs only. .. not stuff like GIMME THE PRIZE INSTRUMENTAL. ..... BUT including "a dozen red roses for my ferring"
*darling (for the first time, I actually PREFER the incorrect word. ... thank you Samsung! )
Fave b side: hijack my heart.... corny as it is. Its fun. Errr maybe SEE WHAT A FOOL I'VE BEEN. ....yes definitely that. Nevermind.
I just do not get along with body language... I tried to listen the entire Hot Space album subtract Body Language and it is pretty good for lifting up to Calling All Girls I had to stop once I got there I just could not lift to it. Haha.
Yay! I just checked the poll and there were 39 votes!

Is there such a band?

I had that thought too. Other good poll would include best songs sung by Brian and best songs sung by Roger.
I didn't realise people didn't care for Soul Brother, I've never had a problem with it. Not great, but I wouldn't have put it in last place. Body Language it is for me.
:giggle: I was about to send a submission to M.V.Ah complaining that gay agenda ruined Soul Brother for me… then, I realized the falsetto would do the job even if I had zero biography knowledge XD
Falsetto plus lyrics, it kind of leaves me two options: either this is a love song that a gay man sings to a gay man; then I feel a strong desire to close the bedroom door and leave because this is awkward and not my cup of tea actually. Or, it’s sung to somebody who isn’t gay; then, a huge misunderstanding is growing because intentions sound definitely originated by sexual desire and I want to leave before it gets awkward XD What’s really annoying, none of this has to do with the quality of the song and in general I like blues.
I guess now I’ll think I’m not the only victim of rapid imagination LOL
