I have always loved Heartland its a great power track. So i started to check out were i can get the cd version and......Life changes CD single has it on the 4 track single, but this was withdrawn from shelfs after freddies death. So this is what it goes for >>>> think ill just keep my download. link
You have to remember that Eil prices are usually about twice as high as the real price... :p
Ido like Heartland as well, and wish they would put it on a Best of Cross album.
Yeah EIL is a terrible way to set a benchmark for pricing rare collectibles. I only ever rarely buy from there IF something is on sale at a good discount, which is like once in a blue moon.

Sadly, we're more likely to get a re-issue of Live in Montreal than a proper collection of the Cross material.
Speaking of Cross songs, I suppose Roger must have been very proud about the second half of Stealin' to re-use it as a new song.

Or nicking the chorus melody from TATDOOL for "New Dark Ages" D-:
Didn't he intend Freddie to sing "New Dark Ages" initially? Reportedly John was so against this that threatened to leave the band if Roger pushed Freddie to sing it.
Maybe he then reworked the melody into TATDOOL which has a much more positive feeling to it. Mere speculation, I know.

The last part of "Final Destination" (that might have been recorded at the same time than TATTOOL) has a similar melody to New Dark Ages and TATTOOL as well.
